Spill containment pallets are engineered platforms used to hold drums or chemical containers while preventing leaks or hazardous liquid spills from contaminating work areas. These units act as a secondary containment barrier, especially in industries dealing with oils, acids, solvents, or other liquid chemicals.
Containers such as 55-gallon drums, IBC totes, or chemical tanks are placed on the pallet. In case of a leak, liquid drains through the perforated top and collects in the sump base, preventing it from spreading. The sump’s capacity is engineered to hold at least 110% of the volume of the largest container placed on it.
